Next month, we’ll present Yasmina Reza’s Tony Award–winning play God of Carnage, a razor-sharp “boisterous comedy of ill manners” that explores what happens when polite society begins to unravel. We’re excited to welcome Rhiannon Jenkins, a British director, performer, and teacher, to lead this production. Keep an eye on the website for ticket information and additional details.

Looking Ahead

This summer, local theatre professional Ashley Skeffington will direct our sixth annual Shakespeare in the Park, bringing A Midsummer Night’s Dream to communities across Essex County. We’ll post performance dates and locations on the website soon.

Get Involved

The Salem Playhouse is currently seeking creative leaders interested in helping shape two potential new programs: a Choral Director to build a community vocal ensemble and an Improv Director to develop an improv troupe. If you’re interested in helping shape the creative future of the Playhouse – or if you have a project idea you’d like to propose – we’d love to hear from you!
