Call for Stage Manager

God of Carnage

​

The Salem Playhouse is seeking a Stage Manager for our upcoming production of God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza, translated by Christopher Hampton, running April 17–25.

​

The Stage Manager will play a key role in the rehearsal and performance process, supporting the director and cast, running rehearsals, calling the show, and helping keep the production organized and on track. Prior stage management experience is preferred, especially with small-cast or intimate productions.

​

***This position will have a stipend available.***

​

Call for Choral Director

Salem Playhouse

The Salem Playhouse is searching for a Choral Director with experience in ensemble leadership or choral arranging to help us launch a vibrant new vocal ensemble. We're looking for someone who’s excited to shape the artistic direction of a community based chorus and guide singers of varying backgrounds into a polished ensemble.

 

This role will begin on a volunteer basis, with the possibility of a future stipend as the program grows.

Call for Improv Director

 

Salem Playhouse

The Salem Playhouse is inviting applications for an Improv Director with experience in improvisational performance, ensemble coaching, or comedy instruction. We’re creating an improv troupe and we’re looking for someone who can nurture creativity, structure rehearsals, and help performers feel fearless onstage.

​

This position begins as a volunteer commitment, with the potential for a stipend as the troupe develops.

​
