A heartfelt thank you to those who volunteered to help get the Salem Playhouse ready to open our doors again this winter. We appreciate your interest and assistance!

We’ve completed the necessary projects to ensure our building is safe for guests, so we are happy to announce that we will again host the Salem Common Neighborhood Association’s holiday concert in Murray Hall on Sunday, December 14, at 3 p.m. This is a free, family-friendly event with the Merrimack Valley Concert Band playing your holiday favorites!

This holiday season marks the beginning of a new era for the Salem Playhouse with a new name, renewed energy, and a bold vision for the future. We look forward to offering engaging local theatre in partnership with the Olde Essex Stage Company as well as wide range of performances, events, and community gatherings.

You can stay connected by following our new Instagram page: @salem_playhouse - a refreshed Facebook page will be coming soon as well!

Our recent building enhancements have been made possible in part by our supportive community. And with many more improvements still needed, your gift in any amount helps us preserve this historic building, moves other vital projects forward, and continues shaping the Salem Playhouse into a vibrant, welcoming home for the performing arts in Salem.

Hope to see you this Sunday!
